Thank You

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to our new home! Our team has been tirelessly working on Take Action Now’s new website and it is with great pleasure and pride that we would like to welcome you to our new home! Please invite your friends to visit us on our social media pages so we can get the word out.

So now, for a few updates. Take Action Now focus will be focus its attention on highlighting and providing opportunities to empower disadvantaged youth in Ethiopia. We will provide    bi-monthly blogs, updates and video clips so that all of our viewers and supporters can stay connected with us year round. Additionally, we would like to take a moment to recognize some wonderful individuals that were integral in making these last two projects a huge success!

Wuhidet Kindergarten and Primary School

  • Hari Desta, who helped to locate a food supplier that offered wholesale prices. Hari also recruited a volunteer to help with the breakfast preparation for students.
  • Abebe Yehualawork, founder of Wuhidet, graciously allowed us full access to the school and spent several hours elaborating on everyday challenges faced by the students.  Abebe also worked diligently with Hari, as well as with TAN personnel, to establish a plan that would best suit the needs of his students.

Biruh Tesfa

  • Rahel Asefa, a volunteer at Biruh Tesfa, who gave much of her time to help determine what food supplies were needed. She has helped to secure food for the school and assisted with logistics.
  • Saba Negatu, spearheaded the Biruh Tesfa project and secured transportation, food supplies, and delivery of supplies for the school
  • Kuku, who graciously offered to help with the transportation of food supplies from the open air markets to Biruh Tesfa.
  • Genet, who provided transportation to the open air market of Merkato and secured prices for items needed for Biruh Tesfa.

And of course a huge THANK YOU to all those who have supported TAN with their time and/or generous financial donation. Your support has made a difference!
